OUR MISSION

The mission of the Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation is to financially assist cancer patients of Edgecombe County.

Being diagnosed with cancer is like having an individual natural disaster. Patients are faced with many hardships including financial stress. The people of Edgecombe County wish to help their friends and neighbors and want to help make that fight for survival a little easier.

Many people assume that the needs of cancer patients are being completely met. However, given the changing times and the rising cost of health insurance, treatment costs, and cost of living, there are a great number of cancer patients who are in need financially.

The Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation strives to assist those needs when it comes to financial concerns. Our group, made up of volunteers, is dedicated to helping our friends and neighbors diagnosed with and being treated for cancer.

The foundation's long-term mission is to become a leading resource in raising awareness and to establish a self-perpetuating fund that will assist those patients who are diagnosed with and being treated for cancer in Edgecombe County.
